The kiosk mode allows us to have a device, such as an ipad, that people can come in and sign up for a membership on premises. While they can technically do this from an ipad that was sent to the membership's URL, upon sign up, it signs them into their account. This means we have to log out that account before the next person can use it to sign up. Kiosk mode would lock down the device so that only the new membership form is viewable, and after they sign up, it resets the form and allows the next person to use it without any additional steps.
